Flattery

How the ratings work

Every eight hours Flattery searches X for posts announcing a clone, a reverse-engineered or a reimagined version of existing software, follows builders whose projects did well, and looks up the posts that link each known repo. Claude Haiku keeps only real announcements, then reads the replies and quote posts for their tone and for red flags such as scams, stolen code or projects that don't work. GitHub stars and downloads count only for the poster's own repo.

❤️ Loved: real use on GitHub and a real crowd on X, mostly positive. ⭐ Proven on GitHub: lots of stars or downloads, but quiet on X so far. 🔥 Hyped, unproven: popular on X with no repo, or one nobody uses yet. 😐 Mixed: people are split. 🆕 New & untested: too new or too small to judge. ☠️ Don't touch: mostly negative replies, a pile-on, a removed repo, or a serious red flag raised by at least two different accounts, quoted on the card.

Everything here is crowd opinion, collected and summarised automatically. It is not a legal or technical judgement, and nobody reviews it by hand. If a listing is wrong, use ⚑ Object on X on its card: once six or more established accounts object for real reasons, spread over at least two hours, it is taken down automatically.
